Telford & District A.R.S. are once again running the Telford Hamfest 2008, an alternative event, co-ordinated with the famous Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s Staff at Enginuity .

This is a fantastic ‘Hands on Technology’ Centre, which invites visitors of all ages and interests to roll up their sleeves and get involved !

The Committee and club at TDARS are behind this venture in Telford. This site has been chosen because it offers more than just a radio rally venue, this was something which gave the old Telford Rally its well deserved high reputation. Even though the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge is a great attraction in its own right we have the Enginuity technology site right next door and we have secured a discounted admission price into this attraction.

It is just a few minutes (4 miles) journey south from the M54 (J4 or J6)at Telford and from other trunk roads.(Main parking Postcode TF8 7DU)

From feedback and given our experience in 2007, we already anticipate all available space will be booked prior to the event. Our previous experience in organising radio rallies will ensure all arrangements will go smoothly and efficiently, and a good day will be had by all.
